Our Practice
Sound Choice Inc. was founded by Dr. Jacqueline Connor in 1988. For over thirty years, Dr. Connor dedicated herself to improving communication and quality of life for members of the community. Dr. Connor is no longer seeing patients in the clinic. Former patients can be scheduled with any one of our qualified audiologists and can expect to receive the same superior audiological care.
Stephen K. Brauninger
Dr. Brauninger has been in clinical practice since 1995. He has been practicing with Sound Choice Inc. and North Shore Ear, Nose & Throat Associates since 1999. Doctor Brauninger earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Merrimack College, a Master of Science degree from Northeastern University, and a Doctorate of Audiology from A.T. Still University’s Arizona School of Health Sciences. He was a staff audiologist at Beverly Hospital, practiced at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary’s South Suburban facility, and trained at the Boston Veteran’s Administration Hospital. Dr. Brauninger is licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology.
Kristin K. Bresnahan
Dr. Bresnahan has been practicing with Sound Choice Inc. and North Shore Ear, Nose & Throat Associates since 2004. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Salem State College, a Master of Science degree from Northeastern University, and a Doctorate of Audiology from Pennsylvania College of Optometry – School of Audiology. Dr. Bresnahan was trained in diagnostics at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, Andover Ear, Nose & Throat Associates, and The Children’s Hospital of Boston. She is licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and a member of the Massachusetts Academy of Audiology.
Maribeth DelTorchio
Mrs. DelTorchio has been practicing audiology for over twenty years. She has been practicing with Sound Choice Inc. and North Shore Ear, Nose & Throat Associates since 2008. Mrs. DelTorchio earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Boston University and a Master of Science degree from Columbia University. She was a staff audiologist at Beverly Hospital for over eleven years. Mrs. DelTorchio was trained at the Manhattan Eye and Ear Infirmary, the New York League for Hard of Hearing, and the Bronx Veteran’s Administration Hospital. She is licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and is certified by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association.
Katie Kirleis
Dr. Kirleis has been practicing with Sound Choice Inc. and North Shore Ear, Nose & Throat Associates since 2014. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree and a Doctorate of Audiology from Purdue University. Dr. Kirleis was trained at the Indiana University Medical Center in Indianapolis and practiced in Maryland before moving to Massachusetts. She is licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, and is certified by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association.
